This is an introduction to the fading art of hand sewing and embroidery. In this class you will make several creative projects.

5 two-hour sessions - $150.00

You will learn the functions of the machine, develop good quality sewing stitches, measuring and cutting skills, and ironing safety. You will be creative as you complete several projects. A sewing machine, materials, and tools will be provided.

4 two-hour sessions - $120.00

Come have some fun and be creative while using fabric scraps to make a unique wall hanging. Machine sewing skills are needed for this class. Bring your scraps to add to our scraps. You will need to supply fabric for background, backing and batting to complete the project.

5 two-hour sessions - $150.00

We welcome the new sewist and those dusting off their machine. You will learn machine basics, cutting tools, and complete several simple projects. We provide Singer 301 machines. Fabric requirements will be needed for sessions 2-4.

5 two-hour sessions - $150.00

You will learn quilting tools, rotary cutting, basic piecing, and how to plan and complete a lap top quilt. Fabric and machine provided for session one. You will need to bring your machine for sessions 2-4 and fabric for your quilt.

1 three- hour session - $45.00

In your first class you will learn two basic techniques for EPP. With basic skills you can create whatever you want, from small to large projects. You are welcome to continue to build your skills by coming to any Open Sew/Knit sessions - $10.00 x session.

A variety of sewing projects will be offered throughout the year. Basic machine skills and rotarty cutting skills are required for these classes. Machines provided and project fabric and material requirements will be shared at time of registration.
